  • Abstract
Agent platforms such as JADE, JXTA, FIPA-OS, JACK, and V-NET have been developed to operate with wired network infrastructures. With the increase usage of wireless technologies, there is a greater need for wireless peer to peer connectivity and functionality. This work presents a novel approach to extend JADE so that it can operate over wireless, peer-to-peer networks. By modeling JADE over a wired network, we introduce functionalities that can simulate wireless environments. By these means, we establish the core functionalities for JADE to junction on a wireless network, thereby avoiding the need to build a wireless infrastructure.
