Abstract :
In this paper, the parameters of 750kV arrester are researched, and a MOA with series gaps for 750kV is designed. The electrical parameters of the arrester and gap are determined based on the simulation results of operation load and the energy absorption of MOA under the different conditions. Based on the simulation and calculation, the size of series is obtained. After that, the 750kV transmission line MOA with series gaps is designed.
