Abstract
Modernization of electric power networks is moving towards the era of a Smart Grid. Meanwhile, industrial robot systems are widely installed into the manufacturing applications. This paper outlines the possibilities of integrating the robot systems to a Smart Grid power network and points out problems that hinder achieving that goal.
