Abstract :
These instructions give you basic guidelines for preparing papers for conference proceedings. Calculations in terms of transient rating of cables is usually a tedious process since it involves an iterative process. Many new programs have been developed to do these calculations. One such program being used extensively at our institution is Quickfield. The aim of this paper is to show that this program is accurate and fast is and yields values that compares favorably to those obtained by G Anders.
