Abstract :
The development of a state estimation package on an IBM PC/AT is discussed. The package was designed so that observability analysis and state estimation studies are simplified. The design criteria and the resulting decisions are discussed. The observability determination program uses the symbolic matrix reduction algorithm. The state-estimation program uses the decoupled-gain-matrix weighted-least-squares algorithm.<>
