Abstract
A discussion is presented of the development of a macro program which solves difference equations, and graphs the time-domain response, using the standard spreadsheet software package Lotus 1-2-3. The object is to enable an electrical engineering student learning about difference equations to see the numerical solution, as well as the steady state response. Other applications of spreadsheet software are discussed.<>
