Abstract :
This paper presents a multi-drive system based on two-stage direct power converter with two motors on the same shaft. In this, the requirement of DC-link components is eliminated to save weight and volume of the system. The functionality of proposed multi-drive system confirm by simulation results and validated by experiments on a laboratory prototype.
