Abstract
In this paper, the influence of vanadium dioxide activation on effective heat capacity was investigated. Heat accumulation was studied with the use of "Aldrich" powders from pure vanadium dioxide containing no variable valency phase in the structure, and with the use of X-ray amorphous powders based on vanadium dioxide with different content of variable valency phases, wherein weakly bound oxygen is present.
