Abstract
The recognition of the final part of exploitation time, i.e. when the device gets older and the ageing processes intensify is of particular meaning. Ageing process of insulation system appears in the shape of failure rate function vs. exploitation time in its final interval and it influences then the reliability of the device. Typical reliability functions are analyzed from the point of view of their usefulness for the aim of maintenance procedure.
