Abstract :
The complex mathematical model of thermal treatment of ingots was constructed for the technical system ldquosteel-rollingrdquo, its numerical solutions were obtained, and the multiparametrical analysis was carried out. New regularities of combined processes were found out on the basis of calculations performed. The multicriterion optimization of thermal preparation of ingots of rimmed and balanced steel to rolling was made. Some power and metal saving technologies were implemented at the level of experiments in industry. Reserves for improvement of the complex productivity, fuel economy, reduction of metal waste and partial melting were found out. Synchronization of heating and rolling rates was achieved.
