Abstract :
PD measurements in GIS can easily be performed with the UHF method. For the localization of defects with this method a direction sensitive sensor was developed which allows to make a decision whether the PD signals arrive from the right hand side or from the left hand side of the sensor. With this system a localization of defects may become easier
