Abstract :
The most important reason that prevents to distribution of super light aluminum alloys is their bad weldability. In the article different mechanical properties of welded joint of aluminum alloy 1420 after laser welding are given. Some origins of low weldability are explained. Some recommendation to increase mechanical properties are delivered.
