Abstract
The observation of the behaviour of a single droplet on an insulating surface is a basic step to understand the ageing phenomenon in a very early stage of ageing. This paper presents results of experimental work with the use of a contact angle measuring system. The performance of single droplets is observed on an horizontally arranged epoxy resin surface under electrical stress.
