Abstract :
In this paper, we present a novel binary content addressable memory system based on a variable structure concept. The stability of the proposed system is shown by a Lyapunov or energy function. As applied to the problem of recalling of degraded patterns/images, the simulation results suggest that the proposed content addressable memory system outperforms the standard Hopfield memory model with the same weight matrices.
