Abstract :
Model specimens to evaluate the insulating properties at the solid-solid interface have been developed. The specimens are easy to fabricate and fulfil the requirements discussed in the 1996 CIGRE Paris meeting. With the developed specimens we can control the electric field direction at the interface. Using different kinds of EPR material we can distinguish their different PD behavior. We can also examine the effects of electric field direction and of the existence of silicone oil or various defects.
