Abstract
CARAIBES is a new seabed mapping software environment which enables one to process various data sets among which the bathymetry and backscattered signal from the multibeam echosounders (Seabeam, Simrad, Atlas, Thomson, ...) and sidescan sonar images (Thomson, Egg, Dowty). All the processing steps are handled, from real time data acquisition and archiving to final seabed map production
