Abstract
Because of its great interest, the power systems reliability has been widely investigated in military, industrial and space applications. This paper is presenting an improved fault-tolerant inverter topology with its associated control strategy. This topology has been designed for aerospace industry that puts hard constraints on system reactivity and testability. In addition to the nominal and faulty mode steady-state analysis, the study emphasizes on the transient analysis when switching from one to another. Simulations and experimental results are presented to validate the operation of the proposed solution.
