Abstract
This paper presents an improved and cost effective methodology for power loss measurement in power electronic switches. The suggested methodology improves the speed and the accuracy of the measurement, using a digital oscilloscope and a specialized current probe for the data acquisition and MATLAB programming for loss calculation.
