Abstract
Electrical interconnects are reaching their fundamental limits and are becoming the speed bottleneck in data communications. Polymer waveguides with propagation losses below 0.01 dB/cm at 800-900 nm are available, and are enabling practical optical circuit boards. We report on advances in the field of polymer optical interconnects
