Abstract :
A traveling-wave Mach-Zehnder type electro-optic modulator using InAs/InGaAs columnar quantum dots is fabricated. The device has the measured modulation efficiency of 333.3 deg/Vmiddotmm for TE mode and 300 deg/Vmiddotmm for TM mode at 1.31 mum
