Abstract
The principle of substation´s voltage and reactive power controller (VQC) is analyzed firstly. The regulating policy is provided on different control zone of voltage and reactive power. A design for substation´s voltage and reactive power control based on expert system is proposed. By fully using the real time and historical data, abundant strategies for voltage and reactive power control, the automatic control of the voltage and reactive power is realized. This method regards one bus as one object of VQC. The scheme proposed has been verified in the practical project and the results show that the design can be applied to vary voltage levels transformer stations, particularly suited to the station with complicated wiring.
