Abstract :
A measurement method of resonantly enhanced gain profiles in vertical-external-cavity surface-emitting lasers is developed. By applying the method with LBO as intra-cavity frequency doubler, a second-harmonic-generation efficiency of 15% and a stable output power of 2 W are realized.
