Abstract :
A novel push-pull three-level isolated DC-DC boost converter is invented. The new circuit topology is proposed based on the push-pull three-level converter. The idea of symmetry is applied into the invention of the new topology. This paper describes the basic circuit and the operating principle for the new circuit. Besides, some theoretical idealized waveforms are given, relevant formulas are derived, and the transient voltage feedback control strategy is also designed. The results of the computer simulation indicate that the new converter can reduce the voltage of switches.
