Abstract :
In 1986 the SICE annual conference was already internationalized partly by introducing English sessions. In 2002, SICE annual conference changed its style, we accepted papers only in English. Then all presentations were given in English in 2005. In 2006, we held the first overseas annual conference in Busan, Korea, which is co-organized by SICE and ICASE. In SICE-ICCAS2006 we had more than 1200 accepted papers and more than 1400 participants. SICE 2008 will be held at The University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo on August 20th-22nd, 2008, and we are planning to conduct the second overseas annual conference in near future.
