Abstract :
This paper deals with grid interfacing AC-DC PWM converters intended for high power applications, where both bi-directional power conversion and power conditioning are needed. There are presented and compared selected topologies with predictive control, for 3-wires and 4-wires (3-leg and 4-leg) converters, and with L and LCL coupling circuit. The analysis is supplemented by simulations and exemplary measurements of the laboratory models and industry applied high power systems.
