Abstract :
This paper presents a control system for a resonant DC link IGBT inverter-fed induction motor drive operated without a speed sensor. The principle of the method is based on a direct torque and flux vector control strategy. The speed estimation technique is discussed and several simulated as well as experimental oscillograms illustrating the properties of the developed drive systems are presented
