Abstract :
This paper deals the DC-link voltage balancing problem in 3- level rectifier-3-level inverter-Induction Motor (IM) cascade In order to improve the performance cascade, we have proposed the use of the redundant states with the selective harmonics elimination PWM instead of space vector PWM to control the DC-link voltages and the inverter switches in the same time. The make use of the proposed algorithm is based on the matrix representation on the NPC 3-level inverter.
