Abstract
In the process control such as chemical plants, there are problems that "the property fluctuation of controlled object" by the deterioration of control device, "time that passes piping (time delay)", and "variations of pressure and temperature" etc. Therefore, the high stability is demanded in chemical plant with a lot of chancy processes. Then, self tuning control (STC) that designs an appropriate controller for the plant that changes hourly is designed. STC is able to be divided into the control system design part and the system identification part roughly, generalized minimum variance control in continuous time domain (CGMVC) is applied in the control system design part in this paper.
