  • Abstract
Separable connecting systems are the next progression in connection systems and are replacing conventional connection methods. The primary advantage provided by separable connecting systems is the flexibility separating components allows for testing of electrical equipment after manufacturing as well as on-site, and the relocation of assembly work to the factory Separable connecting systems are making progress toward replacing conventional connection methods. This step raises deeper questions in applicable standards in view of Type Testing, Routine Tests and dimensions.
