Abstract :
After a few technological breakthroughs, CAD Software can achieve engineering drawing, 3D wireframe modeling, 3D surface modeling, 3D solid modeling, parametric solid modeling and variable solid modeling. With the popularity of CAD software, the requirement is increasing. To build a CAD platform is the trend of the times. Design of a CAD platform solution has been proposed. In this solution, the essential modules, geometric module, data module, graphics module, command management, API and auxiliary tools, are abstract from the requirements of CAD software. And these modules are divided into different layers, according to the dependency between them. This paper also made a clarification on technical points encountered in implementation process.
