  • Abstract
    This paper presents the modelling of a resonant converter with a synchronous current doubler rectifier (SCDR) for DC magnet power supplies. The concepts and principles behind the modelling approach are described. A dynamic model of the converter suitable for control design is presented. The modelling is based on a DQ approach and is verified through simulation and through experiment.
