  • Abstract
We present an optically driven microsphere sorting system based on the optical trapping technique. The liquid crystal panel is used as a spatial light modulator to create double well shaped optical potential where particles are trapped metastably. The constructed optical potential barrier is observed to be different, depending on particle´s size. The sorting experiment showed that there exists an optimum condition in order to accurately sort out particles with different sizes.
