Abstract :
In this paper, an implementation method of the SVPWM (space vector PWM) excluding a microprocessor is presented. It is analyzed that the SVPWM is equivalent to the conventional naturally sampled SPWM (sinusoidal PWM) with a special type of the zero sequence component. The zero sequence component is generated from the three reference voltage waveforms using a three-phase diode bridge and an inverting adder. Experimental results are provided to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method
