Abstract :
The main goal of the paper is to analyse qualitatively the influence of the probe-aperture distance, scanning area size and probe pattern to far-field time domain (TD) dependencies (and, respectively, to the set of antenna patterns in the frequency domain) restored by use of the near-field time domain responses in the case when a δ-pulse is radiated by every point of aperture. We also discuss some peculiarities of the near and far zone fields of an aperture antenna
