Abstract :
A novel current-mode analogue multiplier-divider circuit based on MOS translinear principle in saturation is proposed. The circuit has tremendous advantages over conventional MOS multiplier-dividers in relation to various parameters such as favorable precision, high temperature insensitivity, large small signal bandwidth, and lower harmonic distortion, which are of prime importance in modern day VLSI applications and signal processing systems, such as fuzzy logic controllers and analogue neural networks. Simulations results substantiate the circuit operation and its analysis
