Abstract
Distributed resources (DR) are connected to distribution feeders, and may have a significant impact on steady-state voltage control, light flicker, and transient or temporary overvoltages. The impacts depend on DR interconnection techniques, power variation profiles, and product characteristics. The impacts can often be mitigated with protection and control schemes, transfer tripping, grounding transformers, or other measures.
