Abstract :
With the development of SOA from concept to application in recent years, SOA has been accepted and used by service providers. But it is producer-centric because service providers publish their services and service consumers must search available services to compose their applications. For those who don´t have knowledge of programming, they can´t customize services by themselves. As asset management system is complex and diverse, it is preferable to develop an asset management system that is customizable for system users. This paper firstly proposes an extended-SOA that makes the software system customizable for customizers, and then proposes a customizable asset management system architecture based on the mentioned extended-SOA, and finally gives a typical service customize process. This paper provides a general architecture for a customizable asset management system with which users can customize services by themselves.
