Abstract
A theoretical analysis of conformal microstrip antenna arrays laid out on conical surfaces is presented. The results for single or multiple belt arrays, taking into account the phase shifts, are given. An experimental validation of the computer program has been achieved with a pyramidal realisation. We show the particular effects on the radiation pattern when changing phases are applied to the patches
