Abstract :
We have studied about an electric power transmission system for implanted medical device such as cardiac pacemaker. Inside the body is heated by eddy current loss of the titanium case when power transmitted. However the eddy current loss always exists when power transmitted Purpose of this paper is to discuss about eddy current reduction by changing a shape of the titanium case, based on a computer simulation. The eddy current toss decreased substantially to 40 % when the titanium case was divided into 2 parts. The transmission efficiency was achieved 36-52 % at coil gap of 10-20 mm.
