Abstract
Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) has become one of the most prevalent areas of research in the recent years because of the challenges it pose to the related protocols. Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of wireless mobile nodes forming a temporary network without the use of any existing network infrastructure or centralized administration. In Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET), routing is one of the important issues that has a significant impact on the network´s performance. An ideal routing algorithm should strive to find an optimum path for packet transmission within a specified time, so as to satisfy feasibility and quality of service. In this paper GA is involved in routing during route discovery to get a optimum solution and route maintenance in order to deal with all the infeasible chromosomes.
