Abstract
We present a scheme for fractionally spaced multi-channel signal reconstruction. The scheme extends previous works by Yellin and Friedlander (see Proc. 30-th Asilomar Conf. Signals, Systems and Computers, Pacific Grove, CA, 1996) and Poart and Friedlander (see Proc. IEEE Workshop on Higher-Order Statistics, 1997). We develop an adaptive algorithm based on this scheme and demonstrate its performance by a numerical example. We show that the fractionally spaced equalizer is more robust with respect to timing phase error than its symbol rate counterpart.
