Abstract
This paper deals with discrete event systems represented as Interpreted Petri Nets (IPN), which have been used for characterizing the diagnosability property. In this work, polynomials algorithms for determining the diagnosability of operational and permanent faults in IPN has been implemented in a Graphic User Interface (GUI) as well as a Fault detection and isolation scheme (FDIS) for simulating the detection and isolation of permanent and operational faults.
