Abstract :
The paper presents a theoretical study on the thermal conductivity of frost formation on cooled flat plate under forced convection. Taking the porous medium as a physical model of frost layer, according to the theories of heat and mass transfer, a formula on heat conductivity of frost formation is derived. According to the given equation, numerical computing is applied. The paper compares the numerical result and experiment data and gets conformity.
