Abstract :
This paper describes the dynamic characteristics by using bond graph to analyze the dynamic characteristics of a DC motor when driving a belt conveyor. Bond graph is a graphical approach of modeling method, It can be more easily modeling than complicated traditional mathematical deduction, and insignificant errors exist. According to conversion algorithms, the bond graph model of DC motor and belt conveyor were converted to a Simulink Energy-base Block Diagram (SEBD) simulation model as a subsystem model. The SEBD Simulink model could be simulated by a step function signal input. The results can serve as reference for future modeling, simulation, and analysis of similar loads.
