  • Abstract
The practical array feed is achieved through developing the array element and the power divider. Important technical results developed are summarized as follows. (1) As array element antenna, the convenient patch antenna configuration is developed. (2) For the 30deg beam scanning, the 8 branch power divider is fabricated. Accurate excitation coefficients are ensured through the measured results. (3) The electrical performances as the array feed are ensured through measurements of electric field distributions at lens surface positions. (4) Antenna radiation characteristics at 30deg beam scanning are ensured through the radiation pattern measurements. Beam shapes almost same as the on focus feed are ensured. (5) As a conclusion, usefulness of the developed array feed is ensured. Moreover, realizations of designed results are ensured.
