Abstract
Fluorescence thermometer based on peak intensity and peak intensity ratio of photoluminescence (PL) is developed using a silicone composite sensor with Cr doped spinel crystal. Standard deviation of temperature coefficient of PL peak intensity ratio is much smaller than those of PL peak intensity. PL peak intensity ratio is found to be useful for temperature measurement. Fluorescence thermometer based on temperature dependence of intensity ratio of PL is reported using a composite sensor with Cr doped spinel phosphor.
