Abstract
This paper presents an effective SDM approach for the fast synthesis of shaped reflector. It uses the surface grid nodes as optimization variables. Closed form and continuous solutions of cost function´s derivatives are developed and allows the surface varying smoothly while retaining the computational efficiency. Numerical examples validate the effectiveness of the work.
