  • Abstract
    This paper presents a modular simulation tool which allows study of different control techniques of a permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM). First, the authors detail the simulation methodology which is based on use of the code generator GASPE. The new software package needs to have a modular structure. It offers the possibility to investigate any kind of speed and torque control of PMSM. Two control laws are investigated, vector control and sliding mode control. Finally, some simulation results are presented
