Abstract :
This paper proposes a generalized approach for computer-aided generation of small-signal behavior models of DC/DC power converters. A small-signal behavior model can be automatically generated from SPICE-compatible circuit descriptions. An important feature of the method is that the automatic generation of small-signal models does not require any practical circuit simulation. The approach can be easily implemented in a SPICE-compatible simulator. The new method is verified by modeling typical converters. The simulated results are compared with those reported in the literature
