Abstract :
We proposed a system which supports a personal trip by offering various information. We implemented this system for a user who travels by walking or trains. This system offers various personalized information to a user. The most important information is a user´s current position. In a pedestrian mode, a current position is calculated by the assumed walking speed and the direction. In a train mode, the current position is calculated by a current time using a time table. Thus it is possible to offer customized information to a user. We implemented this system on a lap top type computer, and showed the effectiveness of the proposed system
